Speaking at Kiwanis Club

On March 17, I had the opportunity to speak at a Kiwanis Club meeting, and it was a meaningful experience centered around something that connects us all: service.

I shared my personal journey; from growing up in sports, to competing at the Division I and professional levels, to now building my platform focused on empowering young girls through sport. What made the conversation especially impactful was the engagement from the room. It turned into more than just a presentation; it became a dialogue about how each of us can contribute to our communities in intentional ways.

The Kiwanis Club has a long-standing commitment to serving others, particularly youth, and it was inspiring to be surrounded by individuals who dedicate their time and energy to making a difference.

Opportunities like this remind me that service is not a single action, but a mindset. It is about showing up, sharing your story, and finding ways to create impact, no matter the setting.

I’m grateful for the chance to connect, share, and continue learning from leaders in our community.
