Show Me Rotary Conference – Columbia
I had the opportunity to be part of the Show Me Rotary Conference here in Columbia, where I was able to welcome and greet attendees throughout the event.
It was such a great experience connecting with individuals from across the state and nation, who are all united by a shared commitment to service and community impact. From the moment guests arrived, there was a clear sense of purpose and pride in the work Rotary continues to do, both locally and globally.
Being in a role where I could engage with so many people one-on-one was especially meaningful. It allowed me to hear different stories, learn about various initiatives, and see firsthand how service can take shape in so many different ways.
Events like this remind me that leadership is rooted in connection. Sometimes it is not about being on stage, but about being present, welcoming others, and helping create an environment where people feel valued and inspired.
I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a service-driven community and to continue learning from those who lead with purpose.
