Liberty University Sports Law Panel
I was honored to serve as a speaker for the Liberty University Sports Law Panel, joining other professionals across the sports industry to discuss one of the most transformative topics in college athletics today: NIL.
Throughout the panel, we answered questions surrounding athlete branding, opportunities within the evolving NIL landscape, legal and business considerations, and how student athletes can strategically position themselves for success beyond their playing careers.
One of my favorite parts of the conversation was being able to offer perspective from multiple sides of the industry, as a former Division I and professional athlete, current NIL coordinator, and founder of Play Her Potential. NIL has changed far more than marketing opportunities for athletes. It has shifted conversations around leadership, personal branding, financial literacy, and long term career development.
Panels like this are always a reminder of how quickly the sports industry continues to evolve and how important it is for athletes to feel informed, prepared, and empowered within it.
I am incredibly grateful to have shared space with other professionals passionate about helping shape the future of sports and athlete opportunity.
